FAQ

Will my organization be recognized for attracting the most volunteers through the 40 for 40 Campaign?

WE ARE CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF SOLICITING A MAJOR CORPORATION ABOUT THIS.

Why is there a sponsorship component, where is that money actually going to?

Engaging your business community in outreach and leveraging their participation in social media can be very powerful in attracting new support and new volunteers.  Even if businesses don’t step up to sponsor right away, building awareness enhances your presence in the community.  Your 40 for 40 sponsorship solicitation is administered by your local organization and the dollars come directly to you!

Will you be coming to my local donors to solicit sponsorship for the 40th anniversary?

Absolutely not.  Your local donors help to sustain YOUR local organization.  NVCN will be reaching out to large corporations that are nationally and internationally based in the United States.  IF you anticipate or have concern about a conflict and how NVCN’s efforts might jeopardize your local funding, please contact Tammy Glenn, executivedirector@nvcnetwork.org immediately.  We are committed to a coordinated effort.

Can I customize your 40th anniversary toolbox items for my organization?

Worried about the color scheme?  Size?   You’re not alone.  Please reach out to the Task Force so we can help you adapt the visuals to meet the needs of your organization.

2. Nearly 30% of seniors live alone in the United States. With a little help from volunteer caregivers, like those found through the National Volunteer Caregiving Network (NVCN) we can all age in place! Visit NVCNetwork.org to find your local program #VolunteerCaregiving

3. The 40-year-old National Volunteer Caregiving Network (NVCN) supports volunteer programs and services (and good neighbors like you!); helping seniors that want to live independently. Visit NVCNetwork.org to find your local program #VolunteerCaregiving
